sis has been badgering me and my mum to renew our mobile phone contracts to get a new phone, as well as to switch to her corporate plan for discounts.
i didnt really wanted to change my phone, as i still have one year left in the army. if i change to a non-camera phone, then i have to stick with it for an additional year after i leave the army. non-camera models are annoyingly limited in range and boring-looking too. if i choose a camera phone, it will pretty much be a weekend phone - i wont be able to bring it into camp on weekdays.
but having being forced to make a decision, i settled on a camera phone - the samsung s5830 galaxy ace. and i got it with data plan as well, even though it will only be a weekend phone... ...
oh well, since after discount the price would still be around the same as my current plan. i didnt opt for a second sim card because would increase the monthly bill by $10.
an iphone 4 wannabe? even the interface bears a resemblance. runs on android though.
just read a few reviews on this model. i reckon its pretty much those phones that give you a bang for your bucks. nothing extraordinary, but nothing too shabby either. guess im going to need a long time to figure this phone out. not going to get much time to lay my hands on it during weekdays. besides, i totally suck at using smartphones -.-
oh yeah. my old sim card has to be replaced, so i lost almost all my existing contacts. do facebook/sms me your numbers!
