Should I or should I not...

... do this?

im a little tempted to learn, but still not tempted enough to start.

pros of riding
1. riding is cheaper than driving a car. you pay less for fuel, parking expenses and on gantry fees. even the fines come cheaper.
2. you can weave through traffic during peak hours or traffic jams.
3. i guess riding can be fun?

cons of riding
1. much more dangerous as compared to driving. it doesnt matter if you are careful. as long as there are reckless drivers around, you will always be in danger.
2. no go during rainy weathers.
3. your clothes will smell of car exhaust.
4. wearing the helmet flattens my hair.

i feel that it is a good skill to learn. who knows, one day i might need it. cars might get too expensive for me and the only mode of personal transport would then be a bike. if thats the case, it would be better to get a license early, since new license = expensive insurance.

even if i wont be getting a bike, from time to time maybe i can ride my dads bike for fun. xP

but then again, owning a motorcycle is getting less and less attractive. bikes nowadays are not that cheap either, thanks to the ever-rising cost of the certificates of entitlement.

so i really dont know. haha... anyone interested to learn as well?
