What outfield does to you


individual physical proficiency test (ippt) results:

1st ippt
standing broad jump: 250cm
chin-ups: 9
shuttle run: 10s
sit-ups:46
2.4km run: 11:48

after some training sessions:

2nd ippt
standing broad jump: 250cm
chin-ups: 10
shuttle run: 10s
sit-ups:47
2.4km run: 11:12

after outfield:

3rd ippt
standing broad jump: 239cm
chin-ups: 10
shuttle run: 10.2s
sit-ups:45
2.4km run: 10:49

i noticed a drop in my mass after the outfield events, coupled with a reduction in strength. hence, poorer static station performance Oo. even though i did 10 chin-ups this time as well, the last one ought to be a no-count because i kicked my way up. having problems with push ups as well.

but running around with weights during outfield seemed to have helped the 2.4km run. id never imagined that i would be able to clock a timing of under 11 minute!

Halfway through this race

my back and shoulders are aching, i have 2 spots of abrasion and there are some blisters on my feet. but im far from being the worst in my company. so so many of them returned from the few camp limping like zombies. i was so surprised to see how much i have shrank in term of mass just after 1 week out on the field.

its has been a case of always booking out on saturday and then booking back in on sundays so far. but we have been told that we can now look forward to friday book outs once all the high key training events end this week. fingers crossed, life after that will be more pleasant.

going back to the field again! boohoo! just hope that my equipment dont get too dirty.
